Pipe truss structure - cross-border responsibility of industry and bridges

Construction characteristics and material advantages
Round steel pipes (seamless pipes/straight seam pipes) are used to connect through intersecting welded nodes (directly intersecting and cutting of rods) or node plates to form a truss-type force system. The bending stiffness of the steel pipe section is 30%-50% higher than that of H-shaped steel, and the closed section has excellent anti-corrosion performance (lifespan after galvanizing is up to 50 years), which is particularly suitable for humid/corrosive environments.
Multiple application scenarios
Industrial plant: heavy machinery plant roof (span 40-60 meters), can withstand more than 30 tons of suspended load
Bridge engineering: highway truss bridge (such as Wuhan Gutian Bridge), with a span of up to 150 meters, 60% lighter than concrete bridges
Exhibition building: large-span exhibition hall (Canton Fair Complex), with rectangular tube truss to achieve simple line aesthetics
Selection technical specifications
Truss form: short span (<30 meters) with triangular truss, medium span with trapezoidal truss, long span with parallel chord truss (convenient for node standardization)
Web bar arrangement: the length of the node is controlled at 1.5-3 meters to avoid the slenderness ratio of the bar exceeding the limit (compression bar λ≤150, tension bar λ≤300)
Node process: the intersection node needs to be processed by CNC intersection line cutting machine, and the angle between the branch pipe and the main pipe is ≥30° to ensure the welding quality
